Types of Burials

We currently offer few types of burials which is available across most UK cemeteries

 

Casket Burial 

Casket burial is most common type of burial , where the loved one is lowered into grave space and back filled with soil

Casket Concrete Vault Burial

A burial vault is when the coffin is placed in a protective structure of brick, stone or concrete, within a grave plot, designed to protect the coffin or casket, from the strenuous physical forces associated with burial in the earth

Casket Timber Vault Burial

A burial vault is when the coffin is placed in a protective structure of  timber within a grave plot, designed to protect the coffin or casket, from the strenuous physical forces associated with burial in the earth

Shroud Burial 

The preferred method of burial in line with Islamic traditions and sunnah is the shroud method where the loved one is lowered into the grave space without a coffin or casket so the body comes into contact with the soil and a timber or concrete vault is built around
